Michael founded Pure Basement Systems in 2010. He is an experienced CSSW and CSRT qualified surveyor specialising in basement waterproofing and building defect remediation. He has been actively engaged in the construction industry for over 30 years. At Pure, Michael performs basement waterproofing surveys, designs basement waterproofing systems, co-ordinates and manages basement conversion projects, and manages the business side of the company. Outside work Michael enjoys reading, history, road cycling, travelling and eating out.
Corrie joined the Pure Team in 2010. She has over 30 years extensive experience in administration and small business marketing gained in various sectors. Corrie manages the financial and marketing side of Pure Basement Systems. In her spare time Corrie enjoys walking her 3 dogs, generally keeping fit, travelling, making and drinking cocktails and eating out. Corrie also loves learning new skills and is a qualified Dog Groomer, Natural juice Therapist, Barista and Level 2 Counsellor!
Christine joined the Pure Team in 2018. She has extensive experience in administration and customer service gained in the financial services and property management sectors. Christine prides herself on offering all our clients an excellent customer experience and brings her wealth of knowledge of all things property-related to the team. Christine is married with 2 grown up daughters and two gorgeous spaniels who she enjoys walking in her spare time as well as gardening and DIY (at which she is a bit of an expert!). Christine was once mistaken for a member of the royal family by tourists who swarmed to take her photo during her wedding at York Minster.
Helen joined the Pure Team in 2020. Like Christine, Helen also has extensive experience in administration and customer service gained in the property management and letting sectors. Helen is knowledgeable and extremely efficient and always ensures all our clients receive excellent customer service. In her spare time, Helen likes to dine out and also enjoys making woodcraft signs. Helen’s lesser known skill is that she can fit a whole family bag of Maltesters in her mouth at once!
Andy joined the Pure Team in 2017 as a Joiner but quickly progressed to the role of Construction Supervisor. Andy is a very experienced tradesman having been in the building trade for over 30 years. He brings his wealth of knowledge and experience to Pure to ensure our customer’s projects are completed professionally and to a high standard. In his free time Andrew enjoys skiing, cycling, walking and socialising. A little known fact about Andy is that he was once on stage with Paul McCartney!
Darren joined the Pure Team in 2016 as an Experienced Joiner. He is an apprentice trained and qualified advanced tradesman with over 15 years industry experience. Darren is popular with both his Pure colleagues and our customers, who have said he has been a ‘pleasure’ to have around. Darren has a professional ‘can do’ approach to his work and loves to solve customer’s joinery related problems. Darren enjoys socialising with his family and friends in his free time. He especially loves a good boogie on a night out and was once a student at Dance Floor 54 dance academy!
Sam joined pure in 2019 in the third year of his formal joinery apprenticeship. He has practiced and honed his skills under Darren’s watchful eye since joining us and is now a qualified joiner with a promising career ahead of him. Sam pays great attention to detail and prides himself on always striving for high quality workmanship. Sam loves to watch and play football in his free time.
Steve joined us in 2016, bringing with him over 20 years industry experience. Steve’s main trade is plastering and dry lining, but he has also built up a considerable range of construction skills and knowledge over the years and is a valuable and respected member of the Pure team. Steve brings a conscientious and professional approach to the projects he works on. When not working, Steve enjoys going on holiday and spending time with his friends and family socialising.
Craig joined the Pure team in 2018 to manage our customer’s plumbing and bathroom fitting requirements. Craig is a very knowledgeable and experienced tradesman with a keen eye for detail. In addition to being a qualified plumber, Craig also a very competent and experienced tiler and bathroom fitter. Craig is a true professional and can be relied on to provide our customers with high quality workmanship. In his spare time, family man, Craig enjoys being outdoors and active with his two boys and is also a key figure in his local Scouting group, having grown up in the movement. This involvement led to a meeting with the queen in his early 20’s to collect his Queen’s Scout Award!
Ben joined Pure in 2018 after being head-hunted by us when he did some work for us through an agency. He is an experienced, qualified joiner, particularly skilled in second fix and finishing joinery. Ben is a professional and friendly member of the Pure team. Ben is also a massive football fan, who’s team, Leeds United are poised to re-join the premiership as I type this! When not watching his beloved Leeds United, Ben also enjoys the great outdoors, particular, cycling and walking. When he was younger Ben’s adventure’s took him over to Vietnam where he worked as a tour quide in the Phong Nha Ka Bang national Parks and Caves!
Ethan joined pure in 2021 as he started the first year of his formal joinery apprenticeship in partnership with Preston College. He is enjoying learning and practicing new skills under Darren and Andy’s supervision and is quickly becoming a popular and valued member of the Pure team. Ethan is also our MD, Michael Foster’s youngest son, and Michael is thrilled to have Ethan working with him.
